As part of National Waste Reduction Week Durham Region has set up a free Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection centre for this Saturday in Beverton


Saturday Oct 24th 9am to 1 pm
Township of Brock
Beverton Firehall
on Bay Street
Between Mill Street and Osborne Street

Free of Charge For Durham Region Residents Only

Allowed Items

  • antifreeze
  • batteries
  • brake fluid
  • motor oil and filters
  • fluorescent light bulbs and tubes
  • herbicides
  • insecticides
  • old prescriptions and over the counter medicines
  • propane tanks
  • pool chemicals
  • paints and solvents

No Commercial, institutional, agricultural or industrial waste permitted
